Introduction to Portraiture

The objective of the course is to make great portraits with an emphasis on the creative component in photography.

Every week the Instructor will show about 75 slides of striking photographs to stimulate the creative process. In this course participants are taught that everything in the image is information, which needs to be considered during the creative process.

The program is designed to be very hands on. Every week the students are given an assignment which will help to quickly improve their techniques in taking professional portrait shots.

The participants will shoot both in studio and on location.
